Large-scale hot water project case
This large-scale commercial centralized hot water project has installed 350 flat plate solar collectors in batches, creating a standardized and highly energy-efficient large-scale solar hot water engineering system. This is a benchmark case for energy-saving renovations in factories, parks, and large commercial-residential communities. The project is fully equipped with our self-developed High Selective Absorbing Coating. Relying on the efficient heat collection performance of the flat plate solar collectors, it completely replaces the traditional boiler heating mode, significantly reducing the overall energy consumption and operating costs of the project.
This hot water project is a large-scale centralized energy supply project for a comprehensive industrial park, covering dormitories, office buildings, public washing and cleaning water. The daily demand for hot water is huge and the stability of water supply is extremely high. The project finally adopted a modular centralized laying scheme of 350 flat plate solar collectors, fully utilizing the large area of roof resources in the park, scientifically planning the inclination angle and spacing arrangement, maximizing the utilization rate of sunlight, and solving the problems of high energy consumption, cumbersome operation and excessive carbon emissions in traditional hot water projects.
The flat plate solar collectors used in this project are all equipped with High Selective Absorbing Coating, with a solar absorption rate of ≥ 95% and an extremely low infrared heat emission rate, effectively locking the heat collected by the collectors and significantly improving the efficiency of light-to-heat conversion. The entire set of 350 flat plate solar collectors is combined with a large-capacity insulated water storage tank, an intelligent circulation control system and a constant temperature and pressure stabilizing device to achieve fully automatic intelligent operation. On sunny days, the flat plate solar collectors can independently complete the supply of hot water throughout the park. On cloudy days and at night, they will automatically auxiliary heat sources, providing continuous and stable water supply 24 hours a day, without any interruptions or small fluctuations in water temperature.
After the project was implemented and put into operation, it achieved remarkable results. The entire hot water project, relying on the large-scale heat collection advantage of 350 flat plate solar collectors, replaced over 70% of traditional energy consumption. The annual energy conservation and emission reduction effect was outstanding, significantly reducing the operating expenses of the hot water in the park. All the flat plate solar collectors have passed CE and Solar Keymark international certifications. They are resistant to ultraviolet rays, salt fog, and corrosion, and can operate stably outdoors for a long time. Their service life can reach 25 years, and the operation and maintenance costs are extremely low.
This 350-unit large-scale hot water project using flat-panel solar collectors has fully demonstrated the suitability and practicality of flat-panel solar collectors in large-scale centralized hot water systems. It provides a mature and replicable solar hot water solution for global large-scale parks, factories, and commercial-residential projects.
