Central Asia Hotel Hot Water Project: Flat Plate Solar Thermal Panels Case

A four-star hotel in Central Asia recently completed a green renovation and adopted a flat plate solar thermal panel system to meet the hot water demands of guest rooms and restaurants. A total of 220 high-efficiency flat plate collectors were installed, with a collecting area of 330 square meters, generating 55 tons of 55°C hot water on average per day.


The annual average sunshine duration in the Central Asia region exceeds 2,600 hours, but the lowest temperature in winter can reach -25°C. Our flat plate solar thermal panels use all-copper absorber plates and low-iron tempered glass, combined with propylene glycol anti-freezing circulation. Even after snowfall, the system can quickly start collecting heat. The annual energy saved by this system is equivalent to 18,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 45 tons.


Compared with traditional vacuum tubes, flat plate solar thermal panels have no vacuum failure risk, can operate under pressure, and are easy to remove snow automatically. They are particularly suitable for large commercial rooftops. This case proves the excellent reliability of flat plate collectors in the high-altitude and cold regions of Central Asia.
