BTE Group's World Premiere Flat Plate Solar Air Collector Passes EU CE Certification

BTE Group has announced that its world-premiere ATPC and AFPC flat plate solar air collectors have successfully passed European Union CE certification.

According to Mr. Yan Jijun, General Manager of the Group's International Marketing Center, BTE Group has now obtained CE certification from the European Union for 62 models of flat-plate solar collectors across three categories: flat-plate solar collectors for hot water, flat-plate dual-energy collectors, and the newly launched models designed for air heating. These products are particularly popular in the high-end markets of Europe and the United States.

Mr. Hua Yushi, General Manager of Products at BTE Group, provided a brief overview of the two newly certified products.

The ATPC flat plate solar air collector is a foreign trade-oriented product independently researched, developed, and manufactured by BTE Group. It is a modular, integrated solution that combines solar power generation, air collection, and hot air delivery in a single system. Equipped with a self-powered module, the system supports independent operation, requiring no external electricity. It features easy installation, intelligent temperature control, automatic operation, and high thermal efficiency—making it a preferred choice for distributed energy systems.

The ATPC system is widely used in home heating, industrial facilities, and sunroom heating in overseas markets. In China, it is particularly suited for offices, public buildings, and rural green energy projects. Thanks to its high level of integration, ATPC offers users significant convenience. The system uses air as the heat transfer medium, enabling direct heating while avoiding common issues like freezing or clogging. Once installed, it operates automatically based on the preset temperature—no manual adjustments required. Additionally, its integrated design reduces installation and maintenance costs, making it ideal for daytime-use spaces such as office buildings, kiosks, and other independent structures.

The AFPC air collector, which has received CE certification, is a “sister model” to the ATPC system and is primarily designed to provide thermal energy. It supports series and parallel connections, allowing multiple units to be integrated, thereby expanding its range of applications. The AFPC is well-suited for schools, municipal projects, commercial buildings, and residential heating, and features automated heat energy control during operation.

The CE mark is a safety certification that serves as a passport for products entering the EU and EFTA markets. It signifies compliance with the European Union’s safety, health, and environmental protection standards. CE certification reflects a company's commitment to consumer safety and regulatory compliance. BTE Group’s successful CE certification demonstrates that its innovative products have gained the trust of international customers and regulatory bodies.
