III. Working Principle

The flat solar water heater adopts the principle of forced circulation indirect heat exchange: The flat collector absorbs sunlight, and the blue titanium film coating converts the light energy into heat energy, heating the anti-freezing medium in the heating channel; when the temperature of the collector is 5-8℃ higher than that of the water tank bottom, the intelligent controller starts the circulation pump, pumping the high-temperature medium into the built-in coil of the water tank, and transferring the heat to the domestic water. The system supports electric auxiliary heating, and automatically replenishes heat on rainy days. The 316 stainless steel water tank is directly connected to the tap water, with a pressure of 0.6 MPa, and the water pressure is constant. The aluminum alloy support is lightweight and durable, and is suitable for diverse roof structures in Central and South America (concrete flat roofs, tile roofs, metal plates, etc.).

1. Orientation and Angle: In the Southern Hemisphere (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, etc.), the collector faces north; in the Northern Hemisphere (Mexico, Colombia, etc.), it faces south. The inclination angle is ±10° of the local latitude.

2. Water Tank Position: Place it in an indoor load-bearing area. A 300L water tank filled to capacity weighs approximately 350kg. Confirm the roof's load-bearing capacity.

3. Pipeline Insulation: The insulation of the circulation pipeline should be ≥ 30mm. In high-altitude or southern frost-prone areas, a supplementary heating system should be added.

4. Support Fixation: Use aluminum alloy supports to firmly connect to the roof, with a wind resistance grade of ≥ 12.

5. Water Quality Treatment: In some parts of Central and South America, the water quality is relatively hard. It is recommended to install a pre-softening device or replace the magnesium rods regularly.
