I. Product Introduction

The high insulation solar collector (High Insulation Solar Collector) is specially designed for large-scale hot water projects and cold regions. It is the core component of hotels, schools, factories, hospitals, swimming pools, and regional heating systems. This product adopts laser welding technology, blue solar absorption film layer (blue titanium film), and thick insulation layer. It has high heat collection efficiency and extremely low heat loss, and is particularly suitable for regions with cold winters or large temperature differences in the morning and evening. 

The frame of the collector is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, and the cover plate is low-iron tempered glass (with a light transmittance of ≥ 91%). The heat absorption plate and the flow channel are perfectly fused through laser welding, with extremely low thermal resistance and a heat transfer efficiency that is over 15% higher than that of traditional welding. The heat absorption surface is covered with a blue solar absorption film layer (blue titanium film), with an absorption rate of ≥ 95%, an emissivity of ≤ 5%, and still efficient under low-light conditions. The bottom and the periphery are filled with high-density glass wool (thickness 40-50mm), combined with the low radiation property of the low-iron glass, the overall thermal loss coefficient (U value) of the machine is ≤ 4.0 W/(m²·K), and the thermal insulation performance is industry-leading. Calculate the efficiency value of the solar collector according to the instantaneous efficiency equation of the collector's daylighting area.

② Rated power: The total irradiance of the collector lighting plane is 1000w/㎡, and the collector power when the temperature difference between the average collector temperature and the ambient air temperature is 50 ° C is equal to the product of the rated efficiency and the day lighting area and 1000W/㎡.


III. Working Principle

The high insulation flat plate solar collector achieves stable heat collection through the greenhouse effect, laser welding for efficient heat transfer, and a high insulation structure: 

1. Solar thermal conversion: Sunlight passes through the low iron tempered glass and is directed onto the blue solar absorption layer. This coating efficiently converts solar radiation energy into thermal energy, heating the all-copper heat-absorbing panel. 

2. Rapid heat transfer: The heat-absorbing plate and the flow channel are formed into a continuous metallurgical bond through laser welding. The heat is transferred to the heat transfer medium (antifreeze or water) within the flow channel with an extremely low thermal resistance, causing the temperature of the medium to rise rapidly. 

3. Heat retention and storage: The high-density glass wool insulation layer (40-50mm) significantly reduces heat loss on the back and sides of the collector. The low-radiation property of the low-iron glass reduces top radiation heat loss, enabling the collector to maintain a relatively high outlet water temperature even in cold or low-light conditions. 

4. Cyclic Heating: Multiple collectors can be connected in series or in parallel to form a collector array. The heat is then transported to the water storage tank or end users through a circulating pump, meeting the requirements of large-scale projects. 

The high insulation design is particularly suitable for areas with large temperature differences between morning and evening and severe cold in winter, and it can effectively extend the daily effective heat collection period.

VI. Installation Precautions

1. Orientation and Angle: Face south (north in the Southern Hemisphere), with an inclination of ±10° from the local latitude. In extremely cold regions, the inclination can be increased (latitude +10°) to facilitate the sliding of snow.

2. Array Spacing: The spacing between the front and rear collectors must ensure unobstructed access from 9:00 to 15:00 on the winter solstice. Generally, it is calculated based on 2.5-3 times the height of the collectors.

3. Pipeline Connection: Use a single-loop parallel design to ensure balanced flow for each collector. The circulation pipeline needs to be insulated (≥40mm), and an additional heating belt and anti-freezing protection should be installed outdoors.

4. Anti-freezing Measures: In cold regions, anti-freezing fluid (propylene glycol) must be used as the heat transfer medium, with the concentration adjusted according to the lowest temperature (-25℃ to -35℃).

5. Fixation Method: Use aluminum alloy or stainless steel brackets, firmly connected to the roof structure, with a wind resistance grade of ≥12.

6. Exhaust and Pressure Relief: Set an automatic exhaust valve at the highest point of the system and a drainage valve at the lowest point to prevent air blockage and facilitate maintenance drainage.
