Zimbabwe Ambassador Martin Chedondo and his delegation visit BTE Group
On March 27th, 2025, in the vibrant season of spring, Zimbabwe's Ambassador to China, Mr. Martin Chedondo, led a diplomatic delegation to visit BTE Group, aiming to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between China and Zimbabwe, and to explore new opportunities for collaboration and mutual development. The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Liu Changmin, First-Class Inspector of the Dezhou Municipal Government, along with other local government leaders. Mr. Han Rongtao, Chairman of BTE Group, warmly welcomed the guests and led the company’s leadership team in receiving them.
At the BTE Group headquarters, the delegation toured the Flat-Plate Thermal Energy Showroom, where Chairman Han provided an in-depth overview of the company's which includes technological research and innovation, core product lines and corporate development history. Chairman Han emphasized BTE Group’s longstanding commitment to solar thermal technology R&D, aimed at meeting the diverse energy needs of both domestic and international markets.
Ambassador Martin Chedondo expressed his admiration for BTE Group’s development achievements and extended personal appreciation to Chairman Han. He offered a thumbs-up when learning that Chairman Han serves as a visiting professor at Beijing University of Technology and Shandong University of Architecture — recognizing his leadership in both the business and academic sectors.
During the visit, the ambassador and his delegation showed strong interest in BTE’s integrated flat-plate solar water heaters. They discussed key product features including hot water capacity, heat collection efficiency and energy conversion rates. BTE's international trade team promptly provided the guests with English-language product materials, facilitating deeper understanding and technical dialogue.
This diplomatic visit not only highlighted BTE Group’s innovation and global competitiveness, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between Chinese enterprises and Zimbabwean partners. With the joint efforts of both sides, the China-Zimbabwe clean energy partnership is poised for greater achievements, driving sustainable development and win-win cooperation in the global green energy sector.
