Product Introduction

It utilizes the phase change heat transfer principle of heat pipes and can achieve efficient heat collection and rapid heat exchange without the need for a circulation pump. The product capacity can be customized from 100L to 300L as per demand, and is widely used in scenarios such as family villas, small hotels, rural residences, and apartment buildings, providing stable hot water throughout the year. 


Working Principle

The heat pipe solar water heater operates based on the principle of phase change heat transfer and natural circulation: The heat pipe inside the collector consists of an evaporation section and a condensation section, and is filled with a special working medium. When exposed to sunlight, the absorber coating converts the light energy into heat energy. The heated evaporation section causes the internal working medium to rapidly vaporize, carrying a large amount of latent heat and rising to the condensation section. The condensation section is inserted into the heat exchange jacket or coil of the water tank, and the heat is transferred through the pipe wall to the domestic water. After releasing the heat, the working medium condenses and flows back to the evaporation section, completing a cycle. This entire process does not require external power, has no circulation pump, no noise, and zero electricity consumption. The working medium in the heat pipe does not freeze at -30℃, and the system has extremely strong anti-freezing ability, making it particularly suitable for use in cold regions during winter.

Quick start-up and high heat transfer efficiency: After the heat is applied to the evaporation section of the heat pipe, the working fluid instantly vaporizes, and the heat transfer speed is much faster than that of traditional forced circulation systems. Even on cloudy mornings, hot water can be produced quickly. 

Capacity: 100L - 300L, customizable as needed: The water tank volume is flexible and adjustable. A single unit can meet the daily bathing needs of a 2-6 person household. Multiple units connected in parallel can be expanded to a small commercial scale. 

Pressure-resisting water supply, constant temperature and pressure: The water tank has a pressure of 0.6 MPa. It is directly connected to the tap water, and the water pressure is the same as the cold water. The bathing experience is comfortable and stable, completely eliminating the problems of thin water flow and fluctuating water temperature in traditional drop-type water heaters. 

Modular design, easy installation: The collector and water tank are installed separately. The collector can be placed on the roof or balcony, while the water tank is placed indoors or in the equipment room. It is suitable for various building structures.

Installation precautions

Collector orientation and inclination: Facing south (northward in the Southern Hemisphere), with an inclination of the local latitude ±10°, and avoiding obstructions. 

Thermal pipe angle requirements: The installation inclination angle of the collector must be no less than 25° to ensure the normal return flow of the working fluid. 

Water tank location: The water tank is placed at an indoor load-bearing area. A 300L water tank is approximately 330kg when full, and the floor load capacity must be confirmed. 

Pipeline insulation: The outdoor connecting pipelines need to be insulated with a thickness of ≥ 25mm. In extremely cold regions, a heating tape should also be added. 

Anti-freezing measures: The heat pipe itself is resistant to freezing, but the water tank and indoor pipelines should be prevented from freezing. 

Electrical safety: If auxiliary electric heating is configured, an earth leakage protection switch must be installed and the grounding must be reliable.
